Location
All of our event spaces at Hemsted Park are nestled in 250 acres of beautiful Benenden parkland in the garden of England, whilst also within easy reach of London, with the capital less than an hour by train from nearby Staplehurst Station.
We are located in a village that operates a dark skies policy, so our site can be dark during winter evenings. There will be some lighting and marshals to guide you, but you may like to bring a torch.
We are a no-smoking site.

Parking
We have on-site free parking for audiences. When you arrive at Benenden School, please make your way up the main drive. Parking marshals at the top of the drive will direct you to a parking space.
Parking locations are spread around the site and therefore will sometimes mean a few minutes’ walk from your parking location to the venue.
Wherever possible, we reserve our most accessible parking for those who need it the most. If you have mobility issues and require our most accessible parking spots, please speak to a parking marshal on arrival.
Access
All of our venues have step-free access as well as accessible parking close by. Once you’ve arrived in the auditorium, we have an accessible toilet on this level which is unisex.
Hemsted Park has an Access Membership Scheme which provides free companion tickets to Deaf and disabled customers, and those with long-term health conditions who require a carer to accompany them.
If you would like to sign up, please send proof of eligibility to boxoffice@hemstedpark.com. This can be evidence that you are in receipt of a disability allowance (for example: PIP, DLA, or attendance allowance). Once you have signed up, access tickets are bookable over the phone or in person. You must have a confirmed access membership to be able to book access tickets.
Finding us once on site
When you arrive you will be greeted by parking marshals, who will direct you to one of our car parks. Once parked you'll need to follow staff instructions and signage to find the venue you are looking for. For ease, we have created a map to help direct when you are on site.
Theatre: The Theatre is located just behind the tennis courts. Cars parks 3,5 & 6 are the most convenient, with car park 3 being the most accessible for those with additional mobility needs or wheelchairs.
Centenary Hall: The hall is a little more tucked away and cannot be seen from the car parks. To find the entrance, walk through The Quad and Cloisters and then you will see the Centenary Hall entrance doors. The best parking location for this venue is car park 1. Please note that there is a 1-2 minute walk from car park 1 to the Centenary Hall. For events held in the Centenary Hall, car park 1 is always reserved for those requiring an accessible parking space. When you arrive, please do inform the parking marshal if you require one of those spaces.
If you are coming to this venue but are concerned about the distance from car park 1 to the venue and need a place even closer, we do have a small number of spaces in the artists & accessible parking location. These spaces are very limited and are often taken by performers, so please do contact us in advance if you'll require one of these spaces..
Rose Garden: The Rose Garden is behind the Centenary Hall. Follow the instructions for the hall and then walk through the lobby into the gardens.
